Our approach to sustainable finance
We are driven by two convictions: that sustainability investing must become the norm to solve urgent global challenges, and that misconceptions, confusing terminology and a lack of clarity of how ESG information can enhance investment decisions are holding back the adoption of sustainable finance. We believe that by raising awareness, shifting mindsets and identifying relevant RI approaches for different investment styles and strategies, we can accelerate the flow of capital to sustainable value creation.

Our roots
Contrast Capital was founded in 2011 by sustainable investing pioneers with a shared vision: driving positive change in the industry. Together, they started their journey at SAM Sustainable Asset Management (now Robeco) where they led sustainability research and investment activities. They then created Contrast Capital as a platform to share this expertise with others. Today, they act as strategic advisors and continue to spearhead the development of innovative financial products and services through a diversity of ventures in WealthTech and asset management.
